- Duration of the exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes
- Mode of the exam: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Language of the Question Paper: Either English or Hindi (as per the choice of the candidate)
- Type of Questions: Multiple Choice Based Questions and Reason – Assertion Type Questions
- Total number of Questions: 200 Questions
- Total number of Marks: 200 Marks
- For every right answer: 1 mark is added to the total score.
- For every wrong answer: -⅓ of the marks of the question is deducted from the total score.
- For any unanswered question/ marked for review: 0 marks are deducted.

AIIMS 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through following details to know AIIMS Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian Citizens, OCI and Foreign National candidates are eligible to apply.
- Qualification: Candidates must qualify 12th (10+2) scheme/ SSC examination (CBSE) or Intermediate Science (I.SC.) or any equivalent examination.
- Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) with English as mandatory subjects.
- Percentage: Candidates must score minimum of 60% marks (50% for SC/ ST/ OPH & Foreign National) category candidates.
- Lower Age limit: Candidates must be 17 years in age as on 31st December 2020.
- Upper Age limit: There will be no upper age limit for AIIMS MBBS 2020.
