Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2018)

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2018) is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all the technical institutions/colleges affiliated to A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh is the nodal agency which monitors this exam.

Important Dates:

Opening of online application form: 23rd January 2018.

Closing of online application form: 30th March 2018.
Last date for fee payment: 1st April 2018 (5: 30 PM).

Corrections in filled-in application form: 26th March – 5th April 2018 (5:00 PM)

Availability of admit card: 20th April 2018 (11:00 AM) till exam day

Entrance examination date: 29th April (for UG) and 5th & 6th May (for PG)

Announcement of results: 1st week of June 2018UPSEE 2018

UPSEE Application Form 2018

  • Applications for the exam can be submitted through online mode only.
  • Candidates should keep ready the scanned image of photo and signature for filling the online application form.
  • Applicants need not to send hard copyof filled-in application form.
  • The university has provided the correctionfacility in the application form from 26th March 2018.
  • After payment of the application fee, candidates are required to take the printout of “confirmation page”for future reference.

Eligibility For Admission to 2nd Year UPSEE Courses:

Course Qualifying Examination Minimum Marks
B.Tech (LE) Passed 3-years diploma in engineering or B.Sc with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2. Minimum 45% marks (40 marks for SC/ST candidates) in qualifying examination.
B.Pharm (LE) Diploma in Pharmacy
MCA (LE) BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) degree from a recognized institution. Candidates must have 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination.

Part-A: Mathematics & Aesthetic Sensitivity

Part-B: Drawing Aptitude

50 questions each of Mathematics & Aesthetic Sensitivity with a total of 100 questions and 2 questions from Drawing Aptitude. 500
Paper-5 Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT/BFAD/BFA) 75 questions 300
Paper-6 Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engineering (Lateral Entry) 75 questions 300
Paper-7 Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Pharmacy (LE) 75 questions 300
Paper-8 Aptitude Test for B.Sc Graduates in Engineering (LE) 75 questions 300
Paper-9 Aptitude Test for MBA 100 questions 400
Paper-10 Aptitude Test for MCA 100 questions 400
Paper-11 Aptitude Test for 2nd year MCA (LE) 100 questions 400

There will be a negative marking for wrong answers.

Exam will be of 3 hours

UPSEE 2018 Syllabus

In general, the paper will cover important topics of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology subjects which typically comprising the syllabus of 11th and 12th standard.
