JEE 2018 aspirants, here is a big news for you all. JEE-Mains 2018 result is out today. CBSE has officially announced the result of prestigious JEE Exam (Mains)2018 for Paper 1. JEE Mains Official Answer Key 2018 Released

JEE Mains 2018 official answer key for all codes has been released on the official website of JEE Mains – jeemain.nic.in

Candidates will also be able to view their recorded responses and OMR sheets. JEE Mains 2018 official answer key consists of the correct answers to questions asked in the entrance exam.The candidates will be able to compare the correct answers to their recorded responses and calculate their probable scores till April 27, 2018. The candidates can also challenge the released JEE Mains 2018 official answer key by 11.59 pm of April 27, 2018 and it should be backed with substantial proof. To challenge the official answer key, the JEE Mains candidates will have to pay Rs. 1000.

IB ACIO Tier 1 – Important Information

IB ACIO Tier 1

Intelligence Bureau is the prime agency in India in security of the nation. It recruits Assistant Central Intelligence Officers through Ministry Of Home Affairs, Government of India. The IB ACIO Tier I exam is a 100 marks exam consisting of 60 minutes. There is Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

SSC CGL 2018: Notification date Postponed

SSC CGL 2018: New Notification Date-5 May 2018

Staff Selection Commission had to notify the SSC-CGL 2018 exam on 21st April. But due to unforeseen circumstances it has been postponed till 5th May. Official notification can be assessed on website ssc.nic.in

SSC has given the information related to postponement of exam in a corrigendum on the website on 20th April.

More details regarding the exam:

Staff Selection Commission holds this exam for almost all Group B and C posts in Ministries and Departments under Government of India. The process of recruitment is handled by the organization SSC every year in four tiers. Candidates are required to qualify each of the tiers and they should be graduate in any stream to appear in this test.

Exam Pattern

SSC carries out the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) in four tiers for various posts.

  3. The time limit for examination of Tier -I is reduced from 120 minutes to 60 minutes.
  4. Tier II will remain same.
  5. Sectional cut off will not be there.

Syllabus

Syllabus of CGL is quit unpredictable but is manageable. We will discuss the syllabus of each tier differently.

Tier 1 Syllabus

It is an objective exam which will be held online. It consists of 4 sections, with 100 questions. Each question will carry 2 marks. Complete exam will be of 200 marks. The subject-wise distribution of marks is given below:

Important Points:

  • One wrong answer to a question will deduct 0.5 marks in Paper-1,3 and 4 and 0.25 marks in Paper-2.
  • Level for Paper 1 Questions will be of 10th standard l, Paper-2 of 10+2 level and Paper-3 & 4 on graduation level.
  • The computer will be made available by the Commission at the Centre/venue allocated for the exam
  • Candidates shall not be allowed to bring their own Key-board for the purpose.

Tier 3 Exam Syllabus

This will be a descriptive exam to test the working knowledge of the languages opted by the candidates and general writing skills. This exam will be qualifying in nature and carries 100 marks. Exam will be of 60 minutes.

Tier 4 Exam Syllabus

SSC will hold certain skill tests for particular government jobs.

  1. Typing Test: This is a qualifying skill test for all the posts, other than Compiler. On a computer with a minimum of 2000 key depressions accurately is required to qualify. The duration of this test is 15 (fifteen) minutes.
  2. Computer Proficiency Test:  SSC will hold CPT, to check candidates’ familiarity with-MS Word, Power Point and MS Excel. This is also a qualifying test.

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE 2018) is conducted for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all the technical institutions/colleges affiliated to A.P.J. West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE) – Prepdoor – Mock test, exam pattern

Like many other states, West Bengal is also going to conduct the exam for admissions into various engineering colleges: West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam (WBJEE). In this exam 9 government and 94 private engineering colleges are participating. This exam will be conducted on 22nd April 2018 and admit cards will be available from 12 th April 2018. After the declaration of result candidates have to apply for counseling. This examination will be conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. The exam will be conducted on offline mode on OMR sheet and will be of 4 hours duration. Around 1.27 Lakh students will appear in this exam. Important Dates related to the exam:

Eligibility for the exam:
 The candidates must be a citizen of India.
 Age Limit – The lower age limit for the candidate is 17-25 years as on December 31, 2018.
 Educational Qualification – The candidates should have qualified his/her 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Computer Application as compulsory subjects. The candidates should have obtained at least 45% (40% for reserved category) as an aggregate of the three subjects.
 Candidates should have qualified English in the 10+2 examination with at least 30% marks.
 The candidates should be a domicile of West Bengal.
Examination fees is Rs. 500/- which can be payable both online and offline mode.

JEE Advanced 2018

JEE ADVANCED IN 4 DAYS!!
IIT Kanpur has released the mock tests of JEE Advanced 2018. This is the first time that the exam will be held as a computer-based exam. A demo/help video has been uploaded by IIT Kanpur to assist candidates to take the mock test and online exam. JEE Advanced will have 2 papers which are mandatory for all candidates to qualify.
Only candidates who have qualified in JEE Mains will be eligible to appear in IIT JEE Advanced stage to secure admissions to B.Tech. programmes across 23 Indian Institutes of Technology. Since this year, the top 2, 24,000 candidates from JEE Main would be eligible to take JEE Advanced for IIT admissions. Candidates can opt for both Hindi and English as their medium to take test.

JEE Mains 2018- All You Need To Know

Joint Entrance Exam is one of India’s prestigious exams. This exam is conducted by CBSE at national level. It is regarded as most challenging undergraduate exam in India. JEE exam is being conducted at two levels- Mains and Advanced for admission in all engineering streams and B. Arch/ B. Plan. Exam Pattern :

JEE Mains paper consist of two papers and the description of papers are given below:

Paper-1:

This paper is for admission in B.E or B. Tech courses. This will be conducted both online and offline mode. This depends on the choice of candidates. You will be tested on the bases of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

There will be total 90 objective type questions (30 from each subject) of 360 marks. Candidates can opt for either Hindi or English as the medium of questions.

Time provided for answering the questions is three hours. There will be a penalty of 1 mark for wrong answer and every right answer will fetch 4 marks.

Paper-2:

This paper is for the candidates seeking admission in B. Arch/ Planning courses. This exam will be conducted on offline mode only. There will be 30 question based on Mathematics, 50 on aptitude and 2 questions of drawing. In total paper -2 will be 390 marks. Candidates can choose Hindi and English.

Exam will be of 3 hours duration. And negative marking of 1 mark will be there. For every right answer candidates will be awarded 4 marks.
